There are quite a few misconceptions when it comes to eyelash extensions. I thought it would be a great idea for this month’s blog to do a Q&A with our Lash Expert, Maureen. I’ve gathered some frequently asked questions that she certainly helped to clear up for us! If you’ve ever been interested in trying out our new lash services, I highly recommend reading along! Enjoy!
What Brand of Lashes Do You Use?
I am certified with NovaLash.
Can You Get Your Lashes Done While You’re Pregnant?
Yes, of course! It just may be a little hard to lay on your back while having them done.
How Often Should You Refill Them?
I recommend every 2-3 weeks. It depends on at-home care and your lash shedding cycle.
How Much Does a Refill Cost?
The cost of a refill depends on the week you get them refilled. Two-week refills will cost less than a three or four-week refill. It also depends on what set of lashes you have.
Do They Hurt?
Not at all! Once the service is complete, you won’t even feel them!
Are They Worth the Money?
Yes! You will be addicted! It cuts down on the time you have to get ready and it always looks like you have makeup on!!
How Long Do They Last?
Depending on your lash cycle and at-home care, they can last anywhere from two to four weeks.
How Long Does It Take to Get Them Done?
Your first initial set will take between 1.5-2 hours. Refills can be between 1-1.5 hours.
How Do You Clean Your Face and What Is the Best Way to Clean Them?
You can clean your face like normal, just keep in mind to be gentle around your lashes.
Do They Ruin Your Real Lashes?
Not at all!
How Do They Come Off?
The lashes will come off as your lashes shed naturally or you can come in for a removal service! (We definitely do not recommend you trying to remove them yourself or else you will jeopardize ruining your real lashes.)
Do Any Products Need to Be Avoided?
Avoid using oily products as they can mess with the longevity of the false lashes.
